Snow Days

❄️✨ Sometimes, life gives us a nudge to slow down.

Last Friday, Atlanta had a rare snow day—a winter wonderland that closed schools and businesses. I debated between working or enjoying the moment, but when I saw my daughter’s excitement, I chose to reschedule a call and embrace the day. And I’m so glad I did!

Kids (and adults!) were sledding with whatever they could find, and the joy was infectious. After a few hours in the snow, I even managed to squeeze in some work. It reminded me that snow days aren’t just for kids—they’re a chance to pause, soak in the quiet beauty, and live in the moment.

One leader I know even created a “Snow Day” policy for their team: a day off to recharge, no PTO required, with meetings strongly discouraged.

🌨️ Snow days remind us:
🌟 It’s okay to pause.
🌟 Joy is found in the little things.
🌟 The best moments happen when we embrace the unexpected.

So, when the chance comes, put down the work, bundle up (or stay cozy), and enjoy the gift of now.
